In order to receive the special group rate, please contact the SFA reservations department at (512) 457-8800 and identify yourself as participants of the Social Commerce Summit Meeting hosted by Bazaarvoice. Reservation requests may also be e-mailed to reservations-ausha@ichotelsgroup.com.
RESERVATION CUT-OFF DATE
The guest room block will be held until Tuesday, May 9, 2008. Reservations/name changes received after the cut-off date will be accepted on a space-available basis at the prevailing rate.
CHECK-IN
The hotel check-in time is 3:00pm. Room assignment prior to that time is on an availability basis. Upon check-in, guests will be asked to verify their departure date. At that time, scheduled departure dates can be altered. Changes made thereafter shall be subject to a $75.00 administrative fee. Departure extensions are based on availability.
CHECK-OUT
The hotel check-out time is 12:00pm. Due to the hotel occupancy on the weekends, we are not able to confirm a late checkout at this time; however we will review this again on May 1. Any requests for later departure must be approved through the Front Office. Confirmation on late check-out is based on availability.
INDIVIDUAL GUARANTEE FOR GUEST ROOMS
The InterContinental Stephen F. Austin requires that all reservations be guaranteed. Reservations may be guaranteed by a check or major credit card equal to one night’s room and tax. Cancellations must be made seventy-two (72) hours prior to arrival in order to avoid charge for the first night. Reservations can only be canceled by calling the hotel directly and obtaining a cancellation number. Reservations made by rooming list or by group contact without individual guarantee will be considered guaranteed to the organization. No-shows will be charged accordingly.
The 72-hour cancellation policy only prevents individuals from receiving no-show charges. This policy does not affect the group attrition and group cancellation policy.
PARKING/AIRPORT TRANSFER
Austin Bergstrom International Airport is 9 miles from the InterContinental; approximate travel time is 15-20 minutes. The hotel concierge can assist you with several forms of transportation: Super Shuttle ($22.00* roundtrip), taxi ($20.00* one way), or arrange private sedan service ($55.00* one way).
Valet parking is available at the hotel and is $19.00 for overnight parking for regular sized sedan vehicles and $25.00 for oversized vehicles. Daytime parking for any size vehicle is $10.00.
